KS4 Trailblazers is a programme of weekly, live, interactive English lessons and 1:1 tutorials for ages 14 to 16. Develop language analysis, subject knowledge, and writing skills in preparation for GCSE.

KS4 Trailblazers is a programme of weekly, live, interactive English lessons and 1:1 tutorials for ages 14 to 16. The programme helps students develop language analysis, subject knowledge, and creative writing skills in preparation for GCSE exams. Session are fun and supportive and led by Holly King-Mand, lockdown’s favourite English teacher and winner of the Prime Minister’s Points of Light award.
The 45-minute classes runs for five weeks on Wednesday evenings from 8.00-8.45, and the recording is sent out shortly afterwards for those absent. Mics and videos are optional, and everyone communicates through the chat box (but only if they want to – nobody is put on the spot to answer questions!).
At the start of each term, parents can select a 30-minute 1:1 tutorial for their child and pick a focus for it. If you’d like to book any additional 1:1 tutorials, these will be released at the end of the first week.
Weekly optional homework is set at the end of each class and marked on Tuesdays. Personalised support for parents and students in relation to English studies is provided for all families booked on this programme. There are a limited number of places available and once the programme is sold out, places will only be available if someone leaves.
